Madison County Parks & Recreation invites you to Kite Day at Hoover Ridge Park on Saturday, April 4, to kick off National Kite Month!
Bring your favorite kite and watch the sky come alive with color and motion! Don’t have a kite? No worries—we’ll have some available to share. Whether you’re a seasoned flyer or a first-time kite enthusiast, this event is perfect for all ages to enjoy the simple joy of flying a kite.
Pack a picnic lunch and make a day of it with family and friends as you soak in the fresh spring air. Let’s fill the sky with soaring kites and celebrate the start of a new season together!
This is a free event, but donations are welcomed! We are looking to purchase more items for these events!

Master Builders

When: Saturday, November 7
Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm Where: Madison Primary Cafeteria Calling all Builders! Our Master Builders class will challenge your creativity! Have free play or grab a Master Builders Challenge Card! Participants will circulate through stations that include activities with Legos, Blocks, Marble Run, Teva Blocks, Tangrams, Lincoln Logs, Brain Flakes, and more! Master Builders may be given challenges including creating a town, building a park, or constructing a bridge. We will take photos of completed projects and post them on our website! This is a free event, but donations are welcomed! We are looking to purchase more items for these events! |
