Madison Youth Football 

Fall Registration Information

TACKLE FOOTBALL - Ages 9-11, 12-14

• ​Registration is open!
• $150/player 
• Registration closes 7/15/26
• Madison will participate in the Jefferson District Youth Football (JDYFL) League.  The target age group is 9-11 and 12-14 years old. Participants cannot be in 9th grade. Participants who turn 14 after June 1st ARE eligible to play, but please call to register if that is the case.
• Practices will be Tuesday-Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. 
• Games will be played primarily on Saturdays with the possibility of one or two Sunday games in Madison or the Charlottesville area.
• Participants MUST have a current VHSL physical on file dated after May 1, 2026. 
• Please purchase a girdle with knee pads, mouthguard, cleats, and gloves. Participants will also need to bring a water bottle to each practice and game.

NFL FLAG FOOTBALL

• Registration opens 7/1/26 - 8/15/26
• $75/player
• Leagues:
  • ​Co-Ed (ages 5-7)
  • Boys (ages 8-11)
  • ​Girls (ages 6-13) 
• Practices and games will be during the week.
