In order to qualify for a Hometown Hero award,
- Contributions must have taken place in the 2023 calendar year.
- Nominee must be a current resident of Madison County for the entire 2023 calendar year or must be employed in Madison County for the entire 2023 calendar year.
- Individuals/Businesses/Organizations may be nominated under more than one category, but must have a separate nomination form for each.
- Completed nomination forms must be submitted to Madison Parks and Recreation by Friday, December 8, 2023. Online voting ($2 per vote) will take place through January 15, 2024, with the final recipients honored at our Hometown Heroes Community Awards Gala on February 17, 2024.
- Award recipients will receive a ticket to the Gala.
