COVID-19 Quick Response Guide
Scenario: Your child has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and you have been notified of such by the health department, school, or person with COVID-19 - OR - your child currently has COVID-19
Health Screening questions for participation: If the participant can answer YES to any of the following questions, the participant CANNOT attend any MCPRA activity, program, or sport in person.
~ Has the participant had a sore throat, fever, body aches, cough, or difficulty breathing that is new? Must be free from symptoms 48 hours before participating.
~Has the participant knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 14 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, or had symptoms of COVID-19? Cannot participate until quarantine period is over, as designated by the school, doctor, or health department.
~Has the participant knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 48 hours with someone currently awaiting test results for COVID-19? Cannot participate until negative test result comes back.
~Has the participant tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
• Participant may return to play when they have been at least 10 days since first symptoms
• AND fever-free for 72 hours without fever-reducing medication
• AND 72 hours since all symptoms have improved
• TWO negative COVID-19 tests, more than 24 hours apart
• AND resolution of fever without fever-reducing medications
• AND improvement of respiratory symptoms (cough, shortness of breath)
~ Have you experienced COVID-19 symptoms in the past 48 hours? May return to play when there is an improvement in respiratory symptoms, such as coughing or shortness of breath, must be 72 hours fever-free without fever-reducing medication or two negative COVID-19 tests more than 24 hours apart.

Social Distancing Guidelines
~Do not use parks or trails if you are exhibiting symptoms
~Follow CDC guidelines on personal hygiene prior to visiting parks or trails
~Be prepared for limited access to public restrooms (we only have portable bathrooms open)
~Share the trail and warn other trail users of your presence
~Observe CDC minimum recommended social distancing of 6 feet from other persons at all times
-Fitness stations and playgrounds are open. Please use your hand sanitizer before and after use.
The following amenities are closed until further notice:
-Concession stand restrooms and H5 restrooms (will reopen in April)

-Picnic shelters (reservations under 50 people)

-Hoover Ridge trails
-Pond (valid fishing license required for fishing)
