We aim to offer fitness opportunities both at home and here at Hoover Ridge Park. That way, wherever you are, you can still lead a healthy lifestyle!
We are currently offering Yoga! This outdoor class is aimed to enhance flexibility, strength and balance. "Frostbite Yoga" will be offered through the winter months. It will be outdoors and will incorporate more movement between poses.
Instructor Kaylan Boone is not certified, but offers a great beginner/intermediate-level class.
100 Mile Challenge
Starts October 1! Complete 100 miles at your own pace by Jan 1st. Walk, Bike, Run, Hike, Swim - or whatever you want! Just get moving! All fitness levels are encouraged to participate.
Tracking sheet provided to keep track of activity. Turn in your sheet to P&R office or via e-mail by Jan. 11 to get your reusable Water Bottle!
Event itself is FREE for all ages. By registering and paying the $20 registration fee, you'll get a free P&R Water Bottle and be entered to win weekly raffle prizes (Fridays).
Fitbit, Map My Run, Runkeeper, and Nike Run Club are all great apps to keep track of your mileage.
