We aim to offer fitness opportunities both at home and here at Hoover Ridge Park. That way, wherever you are, you can still lead a healthy lifestyle!
500-Mile Challenge, 1000-Mile ULTIMATE Challenge
Starts January 1! Complete 500 miles or 1000 at your own pace by December 31st, 2021. Walk, Bike, Run, Hike, Swim - or whatever you want! Just get moving! All fitness levels are encouraged to participate.
Tracking sheet provided to keep track of activity. Turn in your sheet to P&R office or via e-mail quarterly to receive your medals! Each quarter you reach your goals, you'll receive a medal. At the end of the year, those who have reached their goals will receive a T-shirt (and other sponsored prizes). Event itself is FREE for all ages. By registering and paying the $50 registration fee, you'll get medals for completing your goals, T-shirt at the end, and free registration to our races and fun runs. We'll also throw in some fun stuff along the way! Fitbit, Map My Run, Runkeeper, and Nike Run Club are all great apps to keep track of your mileage.
